Christmas jazz

Christmas at Hotel Randers means Christmas jazz! As part of our long-standing tradition, you can look forward to an atmospheric evening of jazz, beautiful Christmas songs and magnificent music in the hotel’s beautifully decorated surroundings. This year, we are once again delighted to welcome Heine Hot’s Christmas band, along with a much-loved guest who has performed at Christmas Jazz at Hotel Randers before: the experienced and renowned Danish singer Rikke Mølgaard!

Rikke Mølgaard is a well-known name on the Danish music scene and has performed with some of the country’s biggest names and entertainers over the years. Her collaborations include Stig Rossen, Finn Nørbygaard, Michael Carøe, Bobo Moreno, Jonny Madsen, Tivoli’s Big Band and the Danish Broadcasting Corporation’s Entertainment Orchestra.

At this year’s Christmas Jazz, you can look forward to hearing Rikke Mølgaard perform beautiful Christmas songs together with Heine Hot’s Christmas band, featuring:

Finn Odderskov (saxophone and clarinet)
Storm Klejst (trombone)
Jens Nørholm (piano)
Jesper Carlsen (bass)
Heine Hot Poulsen (drums)

The ticket price includes admission, coffee and a generous Christmas buffet featuring:

• White herring with curry salad
• Red herring with onions and capers
• Mathisen’s homemade fried herring with wholegrain mustard
• Gravlax with mustard and dill sauce
• White fish rillettes with dill
• Eggs and hand-peeled prawns with lemon mayonnaise
• Fried fish fillet with coarse remoulade and grilled lemon
• Three European cheeses with compote and crispbread
• Risalamande with cherry sauce
• Sourdough bread, rye bread and butter
