Welcome to Hotel Randers
Hotel Randers is one of the first provincial hotels in Denmark, and today consists of a mix of classic but also modern settings that match the hotel's 4 stars. The hotel dates from 1856 and was renovated in 2016 - including all 84 rooms. The renovation was carried out in collaboration with Novel Cabinet Makers and Baumann Boe-Whitehorn. The latter is the Royal Building Inspector and has, among other things, renovated Frederik VIII's mansion at Amalienborg. With this design collaboration, the many fine stories from the hotel's long history can still be traced in the details, while the overall interior exudes sophisticated aesthetics, exclusivity and relaxation.

We have a monitored garage (max. 2 meters high), which can be used by overnight guests for 125 DKK per night. It is also possible to charge your car with a charging station. Consumption via MONTA charging station.
A two-minute walk from the hotel, it is also possible to park outdoors in our monitored gravel parking lot for DKK 95 per night. The parking permit is registered upon arrival at the reception.
RESTAURANT MATHISEN
Our restaurant Mathisen is a dining establishment with a focus on local, seasonal ingredients and unique taste experiences, with a strong emphasis on professional expertise. The atmosphere is inviting and relaxed, and the service is attentive. Mathisen provides the perfect setting, whether it is a light lunch, a birthday party or a business dinner.
Mathisen is open Monday to Saturday, both lunch and dinner.

Hornsleth cocktail & wine bar
Hornsleth cocktail & wine bar is Hotel Randers' cheeky little brother, which with its expression is a very conscious contrast to the historic hotel. Here you can do what you otherwise wouldn't do at the hotel. At least almost.
We serve, as the only ones in town, craft cocktails, where the drink is more than the sum of its ingredients. We shake, stir and throw cocktails.
Our wines are well-curated in collaboration with Jysk Vin, so our wine list is updated with old as well as new wine traditions.
The bar is undergoing expansion and will reopen in October 2024.

Are you planning an event? For more than 100 years, Hotel Randers has hosted countless anniversaries, romantic weddings, confirmations, intimate dinners and festive parties. The function rooms can accommodate up to 120 people, and each room has its own unique character. The party menus are a tasty chapter in themselves.
