THE TIME OF TASTE October 1, 2025

For "Time for Taste," restaurants across the country reserve all their seats for children and young people. Here, skilled chefs and fantastic hosts will serve three-course menus that are both incredibly delicious and packed with sensory experiences. The entire experience takes place at Hotel Randers and, with the exception of the staff, is strictly off-limits to adults.

"The Time of Taste" is organized by Melting Pot, which, since Claus Meyer founded the foundation in 2011, has worked for better lives and future opportunities, especially for children and young people, in and outside of Denmark, through projects where food is the means to social change.
Hotel Randers therefore does not profit from the event.

Program
16.20: Arrival and welcome
16:30: The children sit down at the table and are served food.
17:45: A story about Hotel Randers, told from a child's perspective.
18.00: Thank you for today.

Menu
Pumpkin soup, sour cream and herbs
Poussin potatoes, Jerusalem artichokes, cranberries and croquettes
Apple compote, macarons, and vanilla ice cream.

NB! Parents are very welcome to sit in the hotel lobby during the event, but adults are strictly prohibited from entering the rooms where the children are eating. We will provide coffee.
