TASTING TIME October 2, 2024

For Smagens Hour, restaurants across the country reserve all seats for children and young people. Here, skilled chefs and fantastic hosts will serve 3-course menus that both taste amazing and are filled with sensory impressions. The entire experience takes place at Hotel Randers, and is completely forbidden to adults, with the exception of the staff.

Smagens Time is organized by Melting Pot, which since Claus Meyer founded the foundation in 2011, has worked for better lives and future opportunities for children and young people in particular, in and outside Denmark, through projects where food is the means for social change.
Hotel Randers therefore does not profit from the event.

Program
16.20: Arrival and welcome
4:30 p.m.: The children sit at the table and are served their food.
5:45 PM: A short tour / story about Hotel Randers at child-friendly level
6:15 PM: Thank you for today.

Menu
Jerusalem artichoke soup with apple, hazelnuts and cress
Fish'n chips a la Mathisen and apple ketchup
Chocolate ice cream, berry ice cream, almond basket and fallen fruit

NB! Parents are very welcome to take a seat in the hotel lobby during the event, but adults are strictly prohibited in the rooms where the children are eating. We will provide coffee.
